Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a
Systems Engineer/Principal Systems Engineer (Performance Analysis)
to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will support a growing portfolio of programs and IRADs that focus on missile defense and hypersonic technologies and will be a core contributor supporting the analysis of raw missile defense simulation outputs.
This position is contingent on contract award.
Domestic and international travel (up to 10%) may be required, dependent on program needs. This position will specifically focus on supporting the analysis of system model performance.
Basic Qualifications (Systems Engineer)
Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 2 years of related experience OR Master of Science in a STEM field and 0 years of related experience
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Experience using Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) to inform the development of systems along the left side of the "Systems Engineering vee"
Experience utilizing C, Python, R, MATLAB, or similar technologies to analyze raw data and perform complex analysis
Experience with data analysis libraries, such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and MatPlotLib
Experience reading and interpreting Systems Modeling Language (SysML) diagrams
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering
Comprehensive experience using the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM)
Experience with Ansys ModelCenter
Experience with SIMDIS
Ability to support development of systems engineering models utilizing SysML and Cameo
Experience using agile development methodologies
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Graduate Certificate
INCOSE ASEP (or above) certification
Object Modeling Group (OMG) Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Model Builder Fundamental Certification

Salary Range:
$81,300 - $121,900
Salary Range 2:
$100,300 - $150,500
