Base Pay Range: $111,300.00 - $189,200.00 Annually

Group/Division
KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products. EBeam’s mission encapsulates its role as the “eyes” of KLA’s product line, providing timely information on defects and critical locations on the wafer at the highest spatial resolution possible.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Exciting opportunity to work on leading edge technology designing complex e-beam opto-mechanical sub-systems including precision mechanical components and subsystems.
What you will be doing:
Collaborate with suppliers worldwide to develop complex, reliable solutions for next generation e-beam tools.
Understand and drive system and subsystem requirement specifications.
Lead concept and detailed designs including design reviews.
Guide material and component selection for optical and opto-mechanical systems, precision drives and actuators.
Propose feasibility studies and proof of concepts.
Drive the definition of test criteria and build test plans for functional prototypes.
Guide the release process according to KLA’s standard processes.
Work with multi-functional groups and lead system-level discussions including impact on overall system performance.
Lead problem-solving activities at subsystem and system levels.
Minimum Qualifications
Electron-optics Engineer, Optomechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering background.
Doctorate (Academic) or work experience of 2 years, Master's Level Degree or work experience of 4 years, Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 8 years.
Experience working with electron optics, vacuum system design, mechanical design or EBEAM.
Experience with mechanical design tools (SolidWorks, ProE or AutoCAD, etc).
