Job Description: Job Summary: This person will be the primary technical and field applications support contact for some of MPS major accounts in the Bay Area as well as major reference design accounts in the West territory. The main responsibility of this position is to engage with key reference design customers and secure design wins incorporating MPS products and services. The FAE is also responsible for defining and sharing current and emerging customer technical needs to improve tactical and strategic product positioning. Essential Functions: Develop solid technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions. Engage, support, and manage reference design customers using MPS power solutions. Provides technical support to customers to meet or improve customer’s requirements with MPS products and technical knowledge. Educate and train the field sales and technical teams on reference design solutions to help them discover and design at the end customers. Understand market and technology trends to help define new parts as standards and customer requirements evolve. Support in-territory non-reference designs customers. Qualifications: BSEE/MSEE with 5+ years power management and analog systems experience. Ability to interface directly with customers and solve customer problems. Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivation and excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate at all levels written and oral. Ability and personality to build relationships with customers. Oral / written proficiency in English. Willing to travel up to 35% of the time to service accounts. Benefits: Attractive compensation.
