Assist in new analog and mixed-signal IC/SOC product definitions with design, field application, product and marketing teams. Responsible for IC/SOC product lab evaluation board and test system development, including evaluation board schematic and layout design, lab evaluation system development and bright up, working with design/test/field application teams. Assist in IC/SOC product lab evaluation testing, measurement and debug, working with design/test teams. Assist in IC/SOC product production test system development and bright up, working with design/test/product team. Help with IC system level modeling in application environment, as well as IC product modeling for use with customers, working with design engineers, system engineers, and FAE. Assist in application issues and problems debug with field application team if necessary. Assist in generation of product datasheets, application notes, and etc. Qualifications:
BSEE with 5+ years' experience of application engineering in the field of analog and mixed-signal IC/SOC development. Strong experience and solid track record in board level circuit design including schematic capture and layout design (OrCAD/Altium/etc.), and PCB board-level parasitic extraction and simulation/analysis. Strong Experience with analog/mixed-signal IC laboratory equipment and automation tools such as LabVIEW; experience in data acquisition and analysis; familiar with measuring, debugging and analyzing analog mixed signals ICs in lab evaluation environment. Proficient in both hardware implementation and software programming of FPGA/MCU in application environment. System level modeling, simulation, and verification using MATLAB and etc. is highly preferred. Prior working experience in X-Ray imaging equipment or module (industrial/medical) developing is a plus. Prior experience with data converter application and test (lab and production) is a plus.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $135,000 - $170,000.
