Job Description:
This is a senior level position in application/system engineering.
Responsibilities:
Defining analog IC products, developing and debugging reference circuits, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and providing application support and technical training.
Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define high density module products in cloud computing power solutions for CPU, GPU, ASIC, and SOC.
Develop application reference circuits and system level power management solutions for Data Center/AI applications.
Hands-on lab bench evaluations, system and board level debugging, and prototype demonstrations.
Work with cross-functional teams to support existing products and drive new product development.
Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products.
Qualifications/Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in switch mode power supply designs especially in multi-phase core power design. Familiar with lab tools like oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, e-loads, frequency analyzer, etc.
Prior work experience in multi-phase products is highly preferred, proven problem solving capability.
Experience with simulation tools like Simplis, Maxwell, Icepak, etc. is preferred.
Experience in PCB design/layout is a plus.
Fluent communication skills in English.
Excellent writing and presentation skills.
Self-motivated.
Education:
MSEE or higher required.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $170,000.
