Job Summary:
This is a staff level position in application/system engineering. Responsibilities include defining and debugging analog and digital IC products, overseeing, and driving product development, providing technical support for key customers, developing reference circuits, and writing datasheets and application/design notes.
Essential Functions:
Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define and debug analog/digital IC products in DC/DC converters, Core power conversion, and DrMOS applications. Take ownership of assigned products, work with multiple internal teams (design, PE, TE) to drive the full development cycle from definition to production release. Provide application technical support and technical training for key customers and field application engineers. Develop application reference circuits and system level power management solutions for computing, networking, server and cloud markets. Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products. Qualifications:
6+ years of hand-on experience in switch mode power supplies including DC/DC, AC/DC or inverters. Previous experience with low voltage/high current multi-phase buck converter design/test/optimization for CPU/GPU power delivery applications is highly preferred. Fluent communication skills in English Excellent customer communication skills Excellent writing and presentation skills Self-motivated Previous experience in a power supply manufacturer or power management IC company is a plus MSEE or higher required
Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $150,000 - $180,000.
