Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first As a Senior ForgeRock Engineer, you will support Humana's Consumer (B2C & B2B) Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform, helping centralize digital identity services. You'll work with ForgeRock/Ping Identity to enhance customer experience, standardize IAM best practices, and ensure compliance with the latest security standards. This role involves guiding the team in design, development, and implementation, while mentoring junior engineers. The Senior Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software, oversees testing and debugging, and develops fixes. Research complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software-related issues. Begins to influence department’s strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, working without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate across teams to design, develop, and maintain IAM products. Build and maintain frameworks, libraries, reusable components, and REST APIs. Participate in product stand-ups, iteration planning, and retrospective meetings. Shape product architecture and technology decisions. Implement continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices. Create and update technical documentation. Lead and mentor developers in best practices and coding standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and relevant work history in lieu of degree requirement. 3+ years with ForgeRock (Ping Identity) Identity Platform components. Deep knowledge of IAM concepts, including design and migration. Experience with OAuth2.0, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies. Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, AD). Strong communication skills for presenting demos and pitching solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree Work-At-Home Requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required. Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role. A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40 Pay Range:
