Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance, and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases, and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally facing business needs. The Sr Engineer of Rebates & Incentives for Pharma IT performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance, and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to support the Rebates and Incentives team. This position will work with different business teams to design and improve the SAP, Vistex, and Vendavo supported solutions. Responsibilities: Management and support for SAP Sales and Distribution Customer Pricing functions within the Pharma landscape. Execution and management of the Vistex application for chargebacks, rebates, compliance, contracts, and pricing functionality that supports the Pharma business segment. Provide leadership in planning/sequencing of end-to-end design workshops and support facilitation of workshops, leveraging knowledge of industry best practices and application of global SAP implementation experience. Guide complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions and validate fit/gap analysis and design decisions completed by less experienced team members. Identify synergies and optimization areas within the RNI domain and manage the execution. Maintain strategic relationships with all key stakeholders. Provide leadership and direction to the teams during problem solving and crisis management. Provide solution leadership, organizing, and overseeing projects. Help in completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with functional partners to deliver solutions for value-add business functions. Collaborate with other process tower leaders (OTC, PTP, RTR, and non-SAP systems) to ensure a cohesive solution. Provide support in preparing and conducting prioritization meetings with the RNI functional partners. Ensure all critical RNI processes are properly monitored and alerted; and automate recurrent incidents. Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and stable operations. Accountable for IT Controls, SOX compliance, and Audit findings on the SAP Pharma platform. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in related field. Strong experience in leading IT solution delivery in SAP. 8 or more years of strong SAP Sales and Distribution - Order Process experience. SAP SD Pricing configuration and support experience. Experience in all global SAP SD aspects, including defining & assigning Enterprise Structure, Master data, Sales Order processing, and purchasing functions. Vistex experience preferred. Hands-on experience in interface with different systems like SAP to SAP and SAP to Non-SAP. Good work experience in handling IDOC issues. Strong collaboration and leadership skills. Experience in completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with functional partners. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills.
