Litigation Associate

Our client, a respected civil litigation firm in Miami, is seeking a talented Insurance Defense Attorney with 5+ years of relevant litigation experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Defend and conduct depositions of liability and damages experts, parties, and fact witnesses.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Handle litigation cases involving trucking, cranes, construction defects, product liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents focusing on precision and compliance.
• Please prepare guideline reporting and make sure the billing is maintained.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience with a defense focus.
• Proven expertise in depositions, court proceedings, and trial preparation.
• Strong background in at least one of the following areas: trucking, cranes, construction defect, product liability, medical malpractice, or premises liability.
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
