The Associate Account Executive, Marketing is a key contributor to Kellens Marketing, Membership, and Strategic Partnerships department. This role supports the development and execution of integrated marketing and communication initiatives to help clients achieve their goals. Responsibilities include creating engaging digital and print content, managing campaigns, and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless delivery of client projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Essential Functions
Assist in planning, executing, and tracking marketing campaigns, including email, social media, content marketing, and digital advertising initiatives.
Manage client projects to support goals such as member acquisition, retention, and engagement through virtual and in-person courses and credentialing programs.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, track competitors, and inform marketing strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop impactful content for communication channels, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines.
Format, produce, and distribute e-newsletters, email communications, and marketing materials.
Manage social media channels by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize engagement.
Write, proofread, and edit marketing copy for both print and digital media.
Monitor and ensure brand messaging consistency across all marketing materials.
Prepare performance reports summarizing campaign results, website analytics, and key metrics.
Assist in managing and adhering to marketing budgets.
Build foundational expertise in marketing analytics and optimization using Kellens digital platforms and tools.
Other duties that align with the mission and vision of the company as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related area, including internships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) and management tools (e.g., Sprout Social).
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact, Informz).
Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital marketing best practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience with associations or Association Management Companies (AMC) is preferred but not required.

Hybrid Work Environment: All employees located within commuting distance of one of Kellens offices are required to go in on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Flexibility in going into the office additional days may be necessary.
Extended Work Hours: The nature of this role may require more than 40 hours per week to fulfill job responsibilities. Additionally, flexibility in working nights and weekends may be necessary. Longer hours, travel, and weekend commitments are typically associated with conferences or special events.
Office Equipment Usage: The role routinely involves the use of standard office equipment, including but not limited to computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
