What the day will look like


Aon's global Talent Acquisition team spans dozens of countries in as many languages, which creates an opportunity for significant impact in the recruitment of diverse talent. With experience leading detailed projects and proven expertise in implementing an inclusive recruitment process, the colleague in this role will be responsible for building key relationships across the organization to deliver our inclusive recruitment strategy. Some additional responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborate with key internal leaders and colleagues to drive recruiting efforts and develop talent pipelines globally whilst meeting our talent acquisition roadmap actions to meet our business goals.
  2. Closely partner with Inclusive Leadership Councils, Regional TA leaders, and Regional Chief People Officers to develop and drive regional strategies that are relevant, localized, and impactful.
  3. Promote inclusive hiring initiatives and standard methodologies globally to achieve meaningful impact in diverse hiring and overall representation measured through key performance indicators including inclusive hiring metrics, retention rates for diverse hires, applicant experience, talent pipeline development, hiring training efficiency, strategic goal alignment, innovation, and standard processes.
  4. Build and strengthen inclusive recruiting competence within the TA team, people organization, and among hiring managers.
  5. Ensure we have a coherent strategy in place and drive measurement improvements in line with global goals to build a truly diverse and inclusive workplace.
  6. Leverage data and insights to assess the effectiveness of programs and communicate progress towards regional and global goals including board presentations, with an ability to spot gaps and trends and propose mitigating actions.
  7. Work in partnership with recruitment marketing, developing tailored external content to champion Aon's culture of inclusion and belonging to suit local markets, events, and demands globally.
  8. Develop a deep understanding of the internal and external environment to continue to challenge, innovate, and drive impact.
  9. Lead on key talent initiatives related to Inclusion, particularly our partnership with external partner organizations, selection and assessment, talent mapping, retention, mobility, and succession of talent.
  10. Continue to evaluate opportunities to ensure our hiring practices and processes across the applicant lifecycle are inclusive and impactful.
  11. Act as a diversity recruiting specialist to deliver key diversity projects and initiatives.
  12. Attend and represent the company at specific focused career fairs and events.
  13. Address and resolve any concerns or issues related to inclusion raised by candidates.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  1. Passionate and real interest in driving meaningful change in diverse hiring across a global firm.
  2. Proven diversity program management experience including deep knowledge and experience of talent recruitment and hiring process methodologies.
  3. Experience in developing and driving inclusive recruitment strategies and partnering with Talent Acquisition and hiring teams to deliver that strategy.
  4. Knowledge of inclusion concepts including cultural competence and unconscious bias.
  5. Lead change initiatives related to inclusive hiring fostering a culture of inclusion.
  6. Executive presence and influencing skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships at all levels of an organization.
  8. Ability to work independently across multiple regions within a team-focused environment.
  9. Ability to meet and manage multiple projects, prioritize various demands, and identify/solve problems creatively.
  10. Driving successful critical initiatives, identifying opportunities and leading change through creativity, relationship building, and focused execution.
  11. A creative problem solver who brings innovative ideas, new perspectives, and passion.
  12. Skilled in creating comprehensive reports and insights that visualize diversity data, helping stakeholders understand trends and make informed decisions.
  13. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Pay Transparency Laws:


The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $120,000 to $160,000 USD annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.


This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
