This involves creative development from creation to execution, including brand foundations, campaign narratives, content planning, creative platforms and creative direction for assets and activations. As the Creative Director of EA Brand, you will lead both our internal and external team of creatives. You will collaborate with partners to create the direction of projects. Your role is to set the tone for projects that not only inspire and engage our global & diverse audiences but also aligns with the strategic goals of our cross-functional partners. You will report directly to the VP, Executive Creative Director of EA and be an embedded member and leader of the EA Brand, Communications and Impact team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Define and communicate EA Brand creative direction for company brand experiences - regardless of audiences - ensuring alignment with company strategy and brand goals. Partner with Brand, Communications and Events teams to deliver content for enterprise brand channels. This will include consumer-facing creative for platforms and channels such as: ea.com corporate channels, EA social media channels, EA Help, EA Connect, AnswersHQ, and all the EA sub-brands. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop creative strategies that help to engage, grow and inspire our global audiences, translating brand identities into dynamic, interactive content and experiences. Create and evolve the Electronic Arts brand through robust and scalable guidelines inclusive of graphics, tone, music and video. Liaise directly with C-Suite executives to ensure they turn up excellent within EA's internal and external content. Lead a small team of creatives to build a culture and community of practice where content creators and designers are growing, experimenting and innovating in service of our global audiences. Teamwork and ability to not focus on who reports to them but the team environment is crucial. Be the Creative lead providing strategic direction for all external vendors and agencies engaged in the EA Enterprise business. Stay up to date with latest trends, AI tools and technologies in the gaming, marketing and entertainment/creative industries. Partner with production to ensure great ideas are made with the best possible partners, on time, on budget and at quality. Partner with Creative Directors and Brand Leaders across all of EA's franchises to stay up to date on the latest franchise work. Drive the operationalization of the creative process including briefing, creative reviews, milestone planning and team scope. REQUIREMENTS: 10+ years in a similar creative role. 4+ years in a CD or Director role. Experience creating and experimenting with a wide range of mediums to bring to life employee and values-based stories across multi-channels and willingness to experiment with new formats. Experience working and directing executives in front of cameras and on stage. Experience working with corporate communications and employee brand teams. Experience building and guiding creative teams to success. Experience marketing global brands or partnerships. A leader: Inspiring and influential voice with experience selling in creative experiences to different audiences. A storyteller: an understanding of cohesive narrative across everything from a presentation to a memorable end-line to a piece of content. A creator: you guide creativity that inspires breakthrough activations and content across a variety of media. Insights: an ability to turn insights into breakthrough ideas. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): $170,500 - $259,300 USD In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
