Essential Job Functions:
Company Description
Our team is seeking a Client Services Specialist in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role involves managing the non-clinical needs of a group of patients, ensuring their safety at home, and supporting nursing personnel in executing physician orders effectively.
- Coordinate home care referrals, including securing appropriate authorizations
- Assign qualified personnel to cases and manage cancellations
- Ensure timely order management and maintain up-to-date filing systems
- Support branch recruitment efforts, including interviewing and hiring field staff
- Ensure compliance with licensure and credentialing requirements
- Provide counsel to field employees on non-clinical matters
- Investigate and resolve complaints and service failures promptly
- Exemplify the company's standards of excellence and professionalism
- Perform other general office duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years in a healthcare service-related industry
- At least 1 year experience in home health care, with a preference for those familiar with commercial insurance and private pay
- Experience in a health insurance call center and/or doctor's office
- Previous roles such as Health Unit Clerk, Physician Assistant, Staffing Coordinator (nursing home), or Scribe (with hiring experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry with accuracy
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Payroll experience and familiarity with recruiting processes are a plus
- Organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and professional yet friendly demeanor
Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $20.00/Hour
