Inside Sales Account Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
Novipax, the market leader of absorbent pad solutions in the United States, is looking to add an Inside Sales Account Manager to its Crew.
As an Inside Sales Account Manager at Novipax, this position will build customer loyalty and confidence by providing quality solutions and service to both new and existing customers. This position will increase sales in assigned accounts by growing existing business and increasing sales and will play a crucial role in understanding customer needs and promoting our product and offering solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a talent for building strong relationships (internally and externally), have strong communication skills and have a history of identifying profitable business opportunities and closing impactful deals.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Represent Novipax values and deliver excellent service through each interaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for designated major key accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at various levels within key accounts.
- Manage all strategic and operational aspects of customer relationships, crafting tailored solutions for key customers.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email and in-person correspondence to ensure the highest level of customer service and relations.
- Effective written documentation and communication with respect to quotes, sales orders, and other data as required, using tools such as Salesforce and Power BI for analytics, tracking and data management.
- Develop long-term strategic goals and build a robust pipeline of new business. Approach the sales process with a high degree of professionalism and effectiveness by successful utilization of customer centric selling skills and tools, such as use of scorecards, collecting ARs, avoidance of bad debts, cross selling and effective CRM system management.
- Conduct regular account reviews, identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and increase account profitability.
- Handle complex client negotiations, pricing, and contract management in alignment with company policies. Swiftly resolve any issue that a key client may have with the company.
- Partner with the VP, Sales and Pricing Manager to develop competitive pricing strategies for book of business that achieves margin profitability goal.
- Evaluate market trends, present insights, and propose innovative new services and products.
- As an individual and member of the sales team, contribute to the company's planning of both long and short-term business objectives. This will include periodic and annual sales forecasts and budgets for existing and new business initiatives, as well as the setting of sales volume goals.
- Maintain and interpret all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations; prepare quotes and contracts for potential customers.
- Identify potential clients and the key decision-makers within their organizations.
Preferred Experience and Competencies:
- Bachelors degree in a Business discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in an Inside Sales, Account Manager or equivalent role.
- Experience in food manufacturing or packaging experience preferred.
- Demonstration of dynamic communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with all types of personalities.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systems; iQMS ERP experience preferred.
- Results-driven, analytical mindset with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to seek and gain information from multiple parties in order to solve complex problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to understand requests and problems, inform on status, and negotiate solutions.
- Ability to be respectful, empathetic, approachable and customer oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
