Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical-Surgical Shift:
Nights / 6:30p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, (will accept 48 upon request) Length:
13 weeks
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every weekend. Every other holiday Requirements:
IN RN or Compact License Minimum 2 years of strong Med/Surg experience required 1 travel assignment
required Trauma level II experience
required Skillset: PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), epidural management, ostomy care, blood product administration, tele interpretation, wound care (packing, wound vacs, dressing changes), pre/post heart cath (Fem./TR bands/no interventions) AHA BLS AHA ACLS NIHSS Recent Epic charting experience required Other details:
First to float within skillset No local candidates (40 mile radius rule) Patient Population:
Post surgical -whipples, vascular, pre/post heart caths, bariatric, ENT, podiatry, open bellies. Dementia, AMS, CIWA/detox, q 2 hour turns, fall risks, thyroid surgeries Unit Information: 41 beds.
Ratio: Days 1:5-6; NOCs 1:6-7; CN takes a patient assignment Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs
