The Exchange and O365 Administrator/Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the organization's Microsoft Exchange and Office On-premise and 365 environments. This includes ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the email and collaboration systems, as well as providing technical leadership and guidance to junior administrators.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage the organization's Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 environments. Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and security of the Exchange and Office 365 environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the Exchange and Office 365 systems. Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the Exchange and Office 365 environments. Manage the relationship with the Managed Service Provider, ensuring that service level agreements are met and that the provider is delivering high-quality services. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior administrators. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the use and management of the Exchange and Office 365 environments. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and related technologies. Manage Microsoft Entra, including users, groups, service accounts, apps, and permissions. Configure new and existing systems to required levels of compliance and security with collaboration and guidance of other internal teams. Implement, monitor, and maintain Azure solutions, including compute, storage, network, and security services. Configure and manage capacity for Azure subscriptions. Produce internal documentation for consumption by other teams, such as diagrams, how-to guides, or configuration documentation.

Requirements

Must possess a high school diploma or GED. 5-7 years of technical experience with installation, upgrades, and maintenance of various server and network support systems preferred. At least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 environments. Experience in managing relationships with managed service providers. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and related technologies. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven experience in providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers. Note: Night, Weekend, and bi-monthly on-call work required. This is an onsite position.
