We are seeking an independent, self-motivated individual to take on the role of client manager, overseeing all aspects of client relationships. This person should be comfortable engaging with clients on a regular basis, providing guidance on the financial implications of significant business decisions through phone calls and celebrating their successes through in-person meetings.

Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional client service through communication, a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and timely completion of duties
- Strong client relations and new client on-boarding with staff training, and prioritization of tasks for client support team
- Providing controller level or CFO advisory services
- Delegation of responsibilities to support staff, including follow up to ensure timely & accurate completion in accordance with associated budgets
- Review of staff and senior level work, including general ledger transactions, adjusting journal entries, prepared financial statements, account reconciliations, and depreciation schedules
- Preparation and review of financial statements
- Software implementation and/or conversion
- Entering general ledger transactions and adjusting journal entries accurately
- Balance sheet account reconciliation (or review)
- Fixed asset and depreciation schedule maintenance
- Bill payment processing
- Sales and use tax calculations and compliance
- Payroll processing, calculations, and compliance
- Monthly close
- Client audit support
Requirements:
- Completion of Culture Index Survey, link above. Candidates that do not complete a survey will not be considered.
- Background providing controller level or CFO advisory services
- Five to seven years accounting experience, including 3 years in public accounting
- Experience with management or supervision of accounting teams
- A Bachelor of Science degree or associate's degree in accounting or a related field
- QuickBooks experience and relevant software experience (Xero, ACS or CSA, T-Sheets, Expensify and Bill.com, Zenoti preferred)
- CPA license preferred or actively pursuing licensure
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills -- specifically Excel and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to enable effective interaction with all levels of personnel
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Expert at decreasing monthly close time
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Display appropriate ethical knowledge through extraordinary confidentiality, integrity and professional presentation and conduct
- Ability to work effectively both within a team environment and independently
- An attitude of continuous improvement
Work Environment Overview
Casual but professional office environment, work/life integration, client contact, award winning culture. Colorado Casual dress code. The position is full time M-F.
Annual base compensation: $110k-$135k with semi-annual performance bonuses.
Benefits: Group medical/dental, 401k with company match, generous PTO/company holidays, wellbeing and mental health program. The office is in Littleton, CO and flexible/hybrid work schedules are available. The position reports to the Firm partners.
