Accounting Manager
to join our finance team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Description Manage and lead the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Coordinate and support the annual audit process with external auditors. Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all accounts, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet accounts. Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to senior management. Assist in tax compliance, preparing tax returns and ensuring adherence to tax regulations. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members. Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function. Provide support in business analysis and decision-making by offering financial insights and guidance. Work collaboratively with other departments, including operations, marketing, and sales, to align financial strategies with business goals. Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is preferred. Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Experience in the cosmetics, retail, or consumer goods industry is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and MS Excel
