Seeking a seasoned beverage industry professional with strong Drug Channel, Grocery, and C-Store headquarter/chain, distributor, and broker relationships.
Market Management
All CG Roxane/Crystal Geyser Distributors in assigned territory, National Drug Accounts, Regional Retail Grocery Accounts, Regional C-Store Accounts, Food Service Accounts, Natural Food Service Accounts, Natural Foods, and Working with Broker Community.
General Functions
· The Division Sales Manager is responsible to direct and promote the sale of CG Roxane-branded Alpine Spring Water and Sparkling Alpine Spring Water within the assigned territory. This shall be done so as to achieve maximum brand growth and profitability and to achieve both case sales quotas and distribution goals.
· Candidate must be a team player as well as a team leader; they must always portray a positive and professional image.
· Bilingual English/Spanish speaking applicants preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
· Primary contact person with distributor General Managers and/or Sales Managers.
· Maintain distributor and Broker focus on Crystal Geyser Alpine Spring Water and Crystal Geyser Alpine Sparkling Water.
· Responsible for managing, directing and training distributor and Broker personnel.
· Communicate current sales programs via sales meetings and one-on-one work with distributor sales reps.
· Review sales and distribution; recommend corrective action.
· Obtain pertinent sales and statistical data.
· Maintain all appropriate records.
· Develop and implement individual programs as needed to increase sales.
· Responsible for comprehensive market plans involving budgets, goals, objectives, incentives and cost.
· Establish contact and rapport with key account, chain, independent, Natural and Food Service accounts.
· Sell monthly programs at Headquarter/Regional office levels for displays, price promotions and shelf management.
· Expand package distribution in new and existing accounts.
· Locate, establish and/or expand Crystal Geyser Alpine Spring Water and Crystal Geyser Alpine Sparkling Water product lines within secondary distributors.
· Perform regularly scheduled surveys for competitive activity, market trends, and proper pricing and program implementation.
· Work with Area Sales Managers and Merchandisers to provide training and to monitor sales and administrative activity as well as to assist in special accounts.
· Participate in community activities and events including coordinating and supervision.
· Submit all weekly, monthly and special reports, including itineraries, to the Eastern VP of Sales and VP of Sales in a timely manner.
· Responsible for managing all Crystal Geyser point of sale within area of responsibility.
· Responsible for monitoring and reviewing all distributor/account billbacks and charges.
Reporting Procedures
· Provide monthly sales tracking reports, major accomplishments, Client Visit Reports and a sales expense report.
· Review of all monthly marketing programs.
· Communicate all pricing, pricing changes, promotions and sales activity to Eastern VP of Sales.
· Maintain all appropriate records.
· Communicate and track all competitive activity and make recommendations as needed.
Northeast Division Sales Manager Responsibilities
Overall objectives:
- Develop and grow sales and account base within key Northeast markets.
- Identify opportunities and obstacles within the marketplace and provide recommendations on how to achieve goals and overcome obstacles.
- Maintain accurate tracking records in monitoring progress of sales calls.
- Maintain oversight for all past dues and anomalies.
- Maintain proper use of company paperwork to include pricing grids and P&L’s, client visit reports, presentation forms, etc.
- Work with and evaluate brokers on usefulness and effectiveness in market place.
- Attend trade shows as necessary to ensure exposure and development of brand.
Day to Day activities:
The Northeast Division Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the following areas of business:
- Drug/Grocery/C-Store Channel & Retail Wholesalers – helping to execute ad plans that have been sold-in at the buyer level. SM will be responsible for calling on buyers and retail outlets to secure distribution to support ad plan and to establish permanent position at retail level.
- Vending and Foodservice distributors - SM will also be responsible for seeking out new vending and Foodservice distributor business. Once new business has been identified and sold-in, SM will work to grow business by helping to identify opportunities with that wholesaler.
- Brokers – SM will direct brokers to help identify opportunities in the market place. SM will also hold broker accountable for successful retail coverage and headquarter coverage where necessary; SM will also evaluate broker performance as necessary.
- End Users calls – working with area managers, brokers reps and other distributor reps to find new end users along with building relationships with existing customers.
