Senior Recruiter

Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Sr. Recruiter will play a pivotal role in elevating Grand Circle’s Talent Acquisition team by delivering strategic, innovative, and timely support to hiring managers and leaders across the organization. In this critical role, you will be responsible for recruiting and hiring top talent for open positions at our global headquarters, located in Boston, MA. Leveraging your strategic sourcing experience, critical thinking skills, and professional network, you will seek out candidates who fit both our business requirements as well as our core values, leveraging your skills, enthusiasm and experience to deliver and maintain an efficient, thorough and professional hiring process.

Cultivating relationships with internal stakeholders, organizational leadership, candidates, and search firms will be essential to your success. You will work closely with other members of the People & Culture team to support hiring managers and recruitment for open positions within our organization and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish deep trust and partnership with business leaders to help influence talent strategy and better understand the local job market while executing on hiring deliverables.
  • Partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and key stakeholders to understand and deliver unique talent needs while keeping all parties apprised along the journey.
  • Become a deep subject matter expert within your business partner group.
  • Build trust through consistency and execution in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders and the People & Culture team to help scale and manage company growth.
  • Partner with various support functions (finance, IT, etc) to understand and continuously improve the workforce planning and hiring processes.
  • Build recruiting strategies that contribute to the growth of the company, implementing best practices around referrals and process improvements where needed.
  • Responsible for full life-cycle recruitment- Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent, owning the candidate development process from identification and engagement to offer extension and closing.
  • Develop and deploy strategic sourcing solutions, to include referral programs and internal relationship building to promote internal mobility, as well as sourcing external candidates through social media, job boards, community agencies, college/universities, local job fairs, advertisements, and cold calls.
  • Creatively source passive candidates and advance applicants that fit both our business requirements as well as our core values.
  • Prioritize a positive and enjoyable experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Strategically utilize, and build strong partnerships with, external recruitment partners, search firms, and agencies to ensure fulfillment targets are consistently met while ensuring that the recruitment budget is not exceeded.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance to state/federal employment laws and Grand Circle policies and practices for applicant tracking compliance and reporting metrics.
  • Plan and attend networking events (e.g. job fairs and visits to local colleges and universities) for relationship building, sourcing and promotion of our open job opportunities.
  • Participate in weekly reporting on hiring status for all open positions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in recruitment, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in recruitment tools: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media platforms, and other recruitment tools and technologies.
  • Proven success as a Recruiter, using creative and traditional sourcing methods.
  • Experience to support across multiple functions / skills is highly desirable.
  • Essential computing skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Consultative and collaborate approach with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Willingness to handle administrative tasks.
  • Human Resources Certificate or related training or coursework a plus.
