We are looking for an accounting clerk for our client' located in Brentwood, Tennessee. This role involves sorting invoices from mail, reconciling remittance addresses on outgoing checks, ensuring they match the details in their system, and liaising with internal teams for any necessary updates. This position offers an estimated 6 month, 100% onsite, contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems to process payments and maintain records

• Work with large ERP system and Microsoft Excel to manage accounting functions and data entry tasks

• Administrative support of AP team as needed.

• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in accounts or payments

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all system data is updated and accurate.

• Proficient in large ERP Systems(ie: SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Great Plains) A+

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience or knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures

• Ability to perform Check Processing support tasks

• Ability to start immediately and work onsite 100% of time.

• Ability to identify and rectify Discrepancies

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
