Job Description
The Commercial Sales Account Manager prospects new and existing clients within an assigned market area to deliver sales presentations; follow up with key decision makers; and sell services based on businessesspecific needs for commercial plumbing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Meet and exceed monthly established targeted revenue goals
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, lead sources, and referrals
Build a book of business through developing long-term relationships & customer loyalty
Maintain all client communication and documentation in Salesforce
Prepare sales presentations before pitching decision makers
Make daily calls to new prospects and client base to generate leads
Possess the knowledge and ability to communicate to clients the available services & pricing
Handle sales processes from start to finish including Service Level Agreements (SLA), reports and other documentation in accordance with company policy.
Weekly meetings with Manager to review goals, customers contacted, and in-progress sales.
Act as company representative at sponsored activities, trade shows, chamber of commerce events to build relationships and increase company visibility
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or 5 years relevant sales experience. (Preferred)
High School Diploma (Required)
Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience in a customer facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs. (Required)
Valid Drivers License (Required)
Previous experience in service industry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or construction a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce
Excellent verbal communication skills
Good organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to achieve targets
Strong attention to detail with problem solving capabilities
