A community hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. There are many tourist attractions and sightseeing tours in Southeastern Pennsylvania! Take a trip to the Bushkill Falls, Hersheypark, Gettysburg National Military Park, or the Longwood Gardens! This position is open due to a vacancy and offers a 4x10s shift schedule. The case mix includes bread-and-butter procedures, general surgery, orthopedics with a focus on regional anesthesia (ultrasound-guided nerve blocks preferred), pediatrics over 8 years old, podiatry, eye cases, gynecology, pain management, and plastics. There is no OB, cardiac, or trauma involvement. While the role primarily involves supervision, the provider must be comfortable working hands-on as needed.
