LHH is partnering with a growing and employee-focused company looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the accounting department and contribute to the financial health and growth of our client’s company. This is a hybrid position with a flexible schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements, and coordinate internal and external audits.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to senior management.

  • Lead the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis. Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets.

  • Continuously improve accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

 

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.



Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
