HVAC - Heating Air Conditioning Technician

Job Title: HVAC Technician Location: Birmingham, AL Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician for our client here in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and light commercial clients. You will ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation equipment. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate at peak performance. Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot HVAC issues effectively. Provide recommendations for repair, replacement, or upgrades of HVAC systems. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. Maintain accurate service records and documentation of completed work. Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or an HVAC certification is preferred. 1 - 2 years of experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role. Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components, including electrical and refrigeration systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
