Senior Manufacturing Technician

A growing medical device manufacturer specializing in plastic injection molding and microelectronics is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join their team. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where employee input is valued, respected and encouraged The position is onsite (Monday-Friday) and may require overtime (as needed). Machine Setup and Operation: Set up, program, and operate a variety of machines, including automated equipment. Learn start-up and shut-down procedures for automated systems. Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Apply root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues with equipment and machinery, diagnosing problems, and implementing solutions to restore functionality. Process Adherence: Follow and adhere to validated manufacturing processes and standards. Technical Collaboration: Work alongside engineers to perform complex mechanical and electronic tasks. Quality and Safety Compliance: Comply with ISO 13485 Quality Management System (QMS) standards, maintaining a safe work environment by ensuring equipment safety and keeping production areas clear of debris. The ideal candidate will have the experience below: Background in plastic manufacturing or plastic injection molding is required Experience setting up plastic injection molding machines is required (Toshiba, Cincinnati, Sodic, Engle, Toyos) Experience working with plastic materials (polypropylene, polyethylene, polycarb, silicone, santoprene etc.) At least 4 years of experience working in high-volume medical device manufacturing .
