this position is a 6 month contract role, hybrid in Minneapolis Job Duties: Take charge in designing, building and implementing ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data processing. Work with varying data sources like database tables, APIs, CSV, EXCEL, TXT, XML, JSON files etc. Create, optimize and manage TSQL, stored procedures, views and functions to support ETL operations and data sets for Power BI reports. Develop advanced data processing tasks using C# and Python through custom ETL components and scripts. Work closely with multi-functional teams to comprehend data requirements and provide tailored solutions. Design and manage data models, database schemas, tables, views, indexes and more. Be in charge of the documentation of data workflows, mapping and technical specifics. Ensure high data quality through the execution of data validations and cleansing routines. Supervise, troubleshoot and enhance data integration or SQL Agent jobs. Required Skills and Experience: At least 7 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services including concrete experience with the script task, T-SQL, and stored procedures. A minimum of 5 years of experience working with API integrations. Proficiency in API development and integration using coding languages like C#, Python, Java, as well as parsing & processing XML and JSON data. Proficient with API testing tools such as Postman. Strong abilities in analytical, data management and problem-solving. Solid experience in business intelligence and data warehouses. It will be preferable if you have Power BI Development and SQL Server Reporting Service development experience. Attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
