Job Description
Our client, a global design practice, is looking for a ETL Developer to join their team of 8 individuals. The team consists of PowerBI Engineers, a ETL Programmer, a Business Analyst, and a Technical Manager. The ETL Developer will assist with the migration from Deltek Vision to Deltak VantagePoint, supporting enhancements, fine tuning, and adding more functionalities to VantagePoint. The primary data sources the ETL developer will be working with include Deltek Vision/VantagePoint, but they will also leverage SQL, SSIS for ETL script task components, ETL with C#, and integrate data with applications based in Azure cloud. The ETL Developer will also need strong experience with APIs, including integrations of APIs using Python.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and implement ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to meet business and data processing needs.
Integrate and process data from various sources like database tables, APIs, CSV, EXCEL, TXT, XML, JSON files etc.
Develop, optimize, and maintain TSQL, stored procedures, views and functions to support ETL operations and datasets for Power BI reports
Create custom ETL component and scripts using C# and Python for advanced data processing tasks
Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Design, implement and maintain data model, database schema, tables, views, indexes etc.
Document data workflows, mapping, and technical specifications
Implement data validations and cleansing routines to ensure high data quality
Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize data integration / SQL Agent jobs

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of hands-on experience with SSIS with script task, T-SQL, and stored procedures
5+ years of working experience with API integrations
Strong experience in API development and integration using coding language (ex: C#, Python, Java) and parsing & handling XML and JSON data
Experience with API testing tools (ex: Postman)
Strong analytical, data management and troubleshooting skills
Strong business intelligence and data warehouse experience.
Detail oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality (security, file sharing, etc.) Data integration or custom workflow experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint
Power BI Development and SQL Server Reporting Service development experience null
