Residential Electrical Estimator
Location: near Baltimore, Maryland
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Overview: Our client is seeking experienced, self-motivated, and driven Residential Electrical Estimator to join their field team around Baltimore, Maryland. All candidates must have a journeyman/masters electrician license in Maryland and 5-7 years of hands-on experience with residential construction. Skills include reading & interpreting blueprints, strong understanding of local electrical codes, high attention to detail, project management, customer service, and preparation of electrical estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to provide accurate electrical estimates
- Meet with clients to discuss project scope, goals, and specifications
- Prepare cost estimates based on labor, materials, and other project requirements
- Analyze labor costs, overhead, and material prices to ensure competitive and profitable estimates
- Collaborate with the project management team to track project timelines and budgets
- Provide detailed reports and documentation for all projects
- Ensure all estimates comply with local building codes and safety regulations
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license in Maryland (required)
- Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the residential sector
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, local building codes, and safety regulations
- Motivated and driven with a focus on production and efficiency
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Represents company in professional manner with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver"s license with clean & safe driving record
