Job Overview:

The Manufacturing Manager plays an integral role in the overall production process by ensuring the goals for both the Processing and Manufacturing teams are being met. The Processing team primarily handles drying, trimming, and pre-roll production, while the Manufacturing team primarily handles infused products and packaging for all products in the facility. This role requires an individual with strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to delegate and oversee tasks to teams with a diverse range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Pre-Roll and Packaging teams
• Train, mentor, and guide facility personnel to success while maintaining morale and a safe working environment
• Responsible for ensuring an adequate level of performance, discipline, integrity, and productivity of employees
• Report and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
• Collaborate with leadership to develop practical, but attainable KPIs for each department
• Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines for operating in a licensed cannabis facility
• Facilitate proper traceability of all products throughout the facility in METRC
• Work with Management to develop or revise SOPs to ensure adherence with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older (as per legal requirements)
• Minimum of a high school diploma
• 2-5 years supervisory/leadership experience, with 2+ years of production experience
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter. Prior cannabis experience is required
• Ability to manage and direct multiple teams with varying responsibilities
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a must
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and Live Scan FBI database search
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment
• METRC experience strongly preferred
• Highly motivated with a self-starter mindset

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time
• Comfortable working with cannabis products and working in an environment with high amounts of airborne particulate
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Salary: $70,000-$90,000

Hours: Full-time
