Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production and ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality cannabis product manufacturing. This key employee will verify batch records, manage inventory entries in METRC and Biotrack, and schedule compliance testing. The Manufacturing Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and regulatory adherence.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Daily Production Oversight:

    • Supervise the daily production process to ensure products meet quality standards and production schedules.
    • Lead and train production staff, providing direction and support to achieve operational goals.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain workflow efficiency.
  2. Batch Records Verification:

    • Review and verify batch records for accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and prepared for audits or inspections.
    • Implement corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
  3. Inventory Management:

    • Enter and manage inventory records in METRC and Biotrack systems with accuracy and timeliness.
    • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods.
    • Prepare and submit inventory reports to meet company and regulatory needs.
  4. Compliance Testing Scheduling:

    • Coordinate and schedule compliance testing for finished products and raw materials as required.
    • Ensure samples are collected, documented, and submitted to approved laboratories in a timely manner.
    • Track testing results and address any non-compliance findings effectively.
  5. Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:

    • Maintain a thorough understanding of state and local cannabis manufacturing regulations.
    • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies as needed.
    • Ensure all manufacturing processes and documentation are compliant with applicable laws.
  6. Team Collaboration and Leadership:

    • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth production and operational alignment.
    • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, safety, and professional growth.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years in cannabis manufacturing or related industry, with supervisory experience preferred.
    • Proficiency with METRC, Biotrack, or similar inventory tracking systems.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in data entry, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Ability to pass a background check and meet all state regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
