Associate Govenmental Program Analyst / Staff Services Analyst

This position is located in the city of Sacramento .

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will perform work of increased difficulty pertaining to the more complex technical budget work by coordinating and assisting in the development, preparation, administration, maintenance, review and control of the department's budget, provide consultative budget service to department management, and other related work. The AGPA position has program and organizational responsibilities in the preparation of the Governor's Budget and monitoring of various fund sources. The AGPA will perform more complex research and evaluation of fiscal projects and reports when necessary.

This is a 12 month limited term position that may be extended and/or may become permanent pending budget approval. This position currently requires two days per week in-person at DOR headquarters located in Downtown Sacramento. The amount of telework is subject to change and is at the discretion of the Department. Telework is available to California residents, and proof of residency may be required.

Working Conditions
TRANSPORTATION REIMBURSEMENT SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON THE APPROVED BARGAINING UNION CONTRACTS.
1. Public transit (mass transit) passes.
- Up to 100 percent discount on public transit passes sold by state agencies, up to the monthly exclusion amount provided by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
- Up to 100 percent reimbursement on public transit passes purchased by state employees, up to the monthly exclusion amount provided by the IRS.
2. Vanpool drivers and riders
- Up to 100 percent reimbursement on the monthly fee, up to the monthly exclusion amount provided by the IRS.
