General Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic adviser to business leaders, aligning human resources strategies with organizational goals. This role involves driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, talent management, and operational performance. The HRBP closely partner with business leaders to deliver comprehensive HR solutions while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Act as a business partner with managers and supervisors in assigned business groups to communicate policies, procedures, programs, and laws.
- Build strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate effectively with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand and support their strategic objectives through tailored and innovative HR solutions.
- Lead the development and administration of programs, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic principles of the Company.
- Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, organizational changes, and leadership development.
- Drive initiatives to foster a positive work culture aligned with organizational values. Implement and monitor employee engagement strategies.
- Work as a strategic partner with specialists in Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Learning & Development.
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with labor laws. Mitigate risks by proactively addressing employee relation issues and conducting thorough investigations when necessary.
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to recommend strategic HR practices by generating reports and presentations for HR leadership.
- Stay current with HR trends and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive human resources experience, with at least 3 years as an HRBP or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certified preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and change management principles.
- Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in analytics and presentation tools.
- Confidential, professional and results-driven.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to remain flexible and address urgent work matters outside regular business hours.
- This is not a fully remote position. In-office work and travel to local worksites are required.
- Employee remains in the sitting position for prolonged hours. Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
