Personal Injury Associate Attorney

A law firm in Miami, FL is seeking a Personal Injury Associate Attorney. The Personal Injury Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling all phases of personal injury litigation, including case investigation, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will possess superior legal research and writing abilities, strong oral advocacy skills, and a deep understanding of personal injury law. Duties: Investigate and vet potential new personal injury cases for technical and legal issues Maintain a deep knowledge and understanding of the facts in each assigned case Conduct all phases of discovery, including drafting written discovery, conducting meetings, and preparing for and conducting depositions Identify and work with expert witnesses, as well as select and prepare expert witnesses Collaborate with intake and marketing departments during the investigative stages of cases/claims Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings Utilize Microsoft Office and Westlaw for legal research and document preparation Requirements: Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience Superior legal research and writing abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and Westlaw Education: Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school Certifications: Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar Skills: Legal research and writing Oral advocacy Case investigation and discovery Deposition and trial experience Expert witness selection and preparation Collaboration and communication Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) 401K plan Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth through training programs, continuing education, and mentorship Company info BCG Attorney Search 801 Brickell Avenue, Suite 900 Miami Florida United States 33131 Phone :
