Head of Sales
to join our leadership team at a charming boutique hospitality venue known for its elegant dining, versatile ballroom, and impeccable guest experiences. This role is ideal for an ambitious sales professional with a proven track record in event and wedding sales, hospitality, and relationship building. About the Role The Head of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing all aspects of event bookings, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and social celebrations. This individual will be a key leader, developing strategies to optimize the use of our restaurant, ballroom, and event spaces, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction from initial contact to event execution. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize bookings for weddings, private dining, and events. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, and industry connections. Maintain and grow a pipeline of leads by leveraging CRM tools and tracking sales metrics. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing personalized service and expert guidance throughout the booking and planning process. Build strong relationships with prospective and returning clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. Collaborate with clients to customize events, ensuring they align with their vision while meeting budget and operational goals. Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with the operations, culinary, and events teams to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest experiences. Train and mentor junior team members to uphold high standards in sales and client interactions. Act as an ambassador for the property at trade shows, bridal expos, and local networking events. Revenue Management: Monitor and manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to budgeting and planning processes. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of proven success in hospitality sales, with a strong focus on weddings, events, or group bookings. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust. A proactive, self-motivated approach with a results-driven mindset. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and events simultaneously. Familiarity with event management software and CRM systems is a plus.
