Job Description
Review and approve work performed by the Payroll Managers and Supervisors.
Develop, implement, and monitor processes to ensure consistent high quality and efficiency of the payroll processes.
Handle payroll related queries and issues in a timely manner.
Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy.
Provide training and support to payroll staff.
Collaborate closely with different offices and teams.
Manage a high degree of change in a fast-paced, complex, and demanding environment.
Manage a team.
Develop a close working partnership with Labor Relations and Business units on all union payroll matters.
Keep abreast of legislative updates that affect payroll/tax regulatory compliance and provide training to staff.
Perform other duties as needed.
The Successful Applicant
6+ years of payroll experience.
Experience processing payroll for 1500+ employees.
Bachelor's degree.
Previous experience in a Supervisory role.
ADP and Workday experience.
Must have accounting experience.
People management experience.
