West Sahara What you'll do: As a Commercial Underwriter II, you'll be responsible for underwriting new business loan requests and renewals for various Bank lending products. You will build internal relationships by working with lending officers on credit matters and develop external relationships with bank clients. Key responsibilities include reviewing loan structures, financial spreads, entity structures, collateral, market data, and reports to understand risks and prepare recommendations to Credit Administration. You should be able to complete the following tasks relative to moderately difficult credits: Analyze and interpret business financial statements and tax returns to determine financial trends, identify risks, and mitigating factors. Compute traditional and UCA cash flow. Analyze personal financial statements and tax returns. Analyze credit reports. Analyze loan requests and determine the proper loan structure. Analyze collateral such as accounts receivable, inventory, equipment, and real property. Analyze industries for relevant trends and determine the likely impact on business applicants. Correctly apply loan policy and identify exceptions. Synthesize analysis to properly risk rate credits. Communicate analysis in well-written and thorough loan presentations. Additional responsibilities include: Spreading financial statements and tax returns into appropriate analysis software. Reviewing and researching proposed collateral. Summarizing credit analysis in loan presentations and other credit documents. Preparing reports as required by Credit Administration. Providing loan account risk ratings based on Bank policy. Developing and maintaining knowledge of the financial industry, economy, market conditions, and competition. Assuring compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as applicable regulations. Independently underwriting new credits and managing appropriate loan covenants. Working with loan coordinators to obtain information needed for underwriting. Joining relationship managers on client calls and visits. Communicating with clients independently for credit-related questions. Involving in the post-approval credit process from closing to ongoing portfolio management. Reviewing work completed by credit analysts and providing feedback. Maintaining strict confidentiality of all records and data. Following policies and procedures and supporting the Bank's goals and values. What you need to have: Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university with an emphasis in accounting, economics, and finance, and 5+ years of related experience in commercial & industrial lending. Knowledge in financial statement and tax return analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in office equipment and basic office software applications. Knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate, and consumer loan processing. Knowledge of loan documentation and related lending regulations. Current state driver's license and vehicle with appropriate insurance if required. Compensation:

Salary range for new hires is generally $94,620.00 - $116,883.00 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. This role may be eligible for annual bonuses/incentives and restricted stock. Benefits you'll love:
