AV Builds Field Engineer

Requirements
Work closely with the larger AV team, space planning teams, and other cross functional employees to define the technical requirements for a space.
Assist in the design, build, and management of conference rooms and smaller AV builds (training rooms, refreshes, moves/adds/changes, experiential tech)
Assist in commissioning new AV builds, including working with vendors to resolve all issues before FDOB.
Manage and develop processes for successful project handoff and documentation.
Troubleshoot and provide technical support for issues escalated by partner teams.
Assist in the development of processes and standards for conference room designs and support across several different environments.
Clearly communicate and document processes to team, vendors, and partners.
Foster partnerships with team members working in other regions.
Quality control of inventory and asset management.
Communicate needs and upstream dependencies clearly.
Help to develop escalation workflows between teams that will continue to scale with Netflix as we grow.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience with AV design and deployment from the ground up, including acoustics, lighting, and other conference room technology.
Experience with designing and supporting Google VC hardware preferred.
Advanced AV field engineering experience working with Crestron equipment, q-sys, audio DSP’s, video conferencing hardware, LED walls, and Dante/AES microphone systems.
Demonstrated project management experience with large projects, organizational skills and an ability to maintain and create standards.
Advanced understanding of networking technology, video transmission over network and audio/video signal flow.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting advanced audio and video equipment in the field as an escalation point.
Experience with AV integration on the integrator and/or corporate side, with a focus on the physical installation and commissioning/project closeout.
Experience deploying inventory management protocols.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; must be a self-motivated self-starter who can initiate ideas and take ownership of work all the way to completion.
Experience working with and managing various vendors, suppliers and integrators.
Able to prioritize tasks and projects, and accurately forecast upcoming project needs.
CTS, CTS-D, q-sys certifications or relevant experience are a strong plus .
Minimum 5 years of installation, programming, troubleshooting, or relevant experience
Open to international and domestic travel.
