The Senior Marketing Specialist supports the marketing team by coordinating and implementing marketing activities that promote the company’s products, services, and brand. This role involves managing marketing campaigns, conducting market research, and assisting with the creation of content and promotional materials. The Senior Marketing Specialist works closely with other team members to ensure that marketing strategies are executed efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities
Campaign Coordination
In partnership with the Marketing Agency, assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including email, social media, digital advertising, and direct mail initiatives. Monitor campaign performance and provide reports on metrics, such as engagement, conversion rates, and ROI. Coordinate promotional activities, events, and trade shows.
Content Creation, Management, and Internal Branding
Assist in creating and editing marketing content, including blog posts, newsletters, promotional materials, and internal corporate branding assets. Manage content calendars to ensure timely publication across various channels. Coordinate with designers, writers, and other team members to produce marketing collateral and internal branding materials.
Market Research and Analysis
Conduct research to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Gather and analyze data to support marketing strategy decisions and campaign improvements. Provide insights based on research findings to help refine marketing approaches.
Direct Mail Marketing and Tactical Execution
Develop, execute, and optimize direct mail marketing campaigns, including strategy, design, and distribution. Monitor response rates, analyze campaign performance, and provide recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with vendors for printing, mailing, and tracking to ensure timely and effective delivery. Manage the inventory, ordering, and distribution of marketing assets. Ensure the coordination and logistical management of print materials, inventory, and on-site promotional assets.
Event Coordination
Assist with the planning and coordination of marketing events, such as webinars, product launches, and trade shows. Handle logistics, such as venue booking, vendor management, and promotional materials. Support on-site event activities, including setup, registration, and attendee interaction.
Administrative Support
Maintain marketing databases, including customer and lead lists. Track marketing budgets and expenses, ensuring that projects are completed within financial guidelines. Assist with the management of marketing materials, inventory, and distribution.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure brand consistency and message alignment. Communicate with external partners, agencies, and vendors as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Proven 2+ years’ experience as a Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Assistant, or similar role. Familiarity with marketing software and tools, such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Skills
