Duties
Draft and prosecute complex patent applications, ensuring compliance with legal and client standards. Collaborate with other attorneys, clients, and professionals to ensure efficient handling of patent matters. Conduct patentability assessments, manage client portfolios, and navigate office actions. Guide patent strategy and help clients protect their intellectual property assets. Stay informed on the latest developments in technology and patent law, applying this knowledge to client work. Requirements
3-7 years of experience in patent prosecution, with a focus on drafting and filing patent applications. Strong background in patent law, with experience in one or more technical areas: computer science, artificial intelligence, radar systems, drones, business methods, semiconductor manufacturing, or mechanical systems. Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred). Certifications
Admission to the Patent Bar and a State Bar (required). Skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong academic credentials. Proficient in drafting clear and effective patent applications. Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on technical and legal writing. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
