Revenue Accountant

$42.00 - $60.00 (est. hourly) Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join their team This position is located in San Francisco, California. Duties: Assist in contract migration activities Review go-to-market offerings and non-standard deals for compliance with revenue recognition policies Conduct ASC 606 research, draft documentation, and presentations on policy decisions and emerging topics Ensure alignment on revenue recognition policies within the revenue team Collaborate with stakeholders to support go-to-market initiatives Develop and deliver training on revenue recognition across the organization Keep the organization updated on changes in revenue recognition standards Prepare documentation to support revenue recognition during audits Respond to audit inquiries promptly and accurately Support Tableau automation initiatives to streamline revenue recognition Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency Desired Skills/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or equivalent preferred 3 years of experience in revenue recognition, focused on ASC 606 Strong understanding of GAAP and ASC 606 guidelines Experience with Tableau or similar tools is a plus Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment Benefits: Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans 401K offered
