As part of our growth we are looking for a System Administrator based out in Lancaster, PA where you will be part of a global Information Technology team fighting fraud and piracy The Systems Administrator maintains and enhances the computer systems and network infrastructure. This role manages servers, workstations, network devices, and all necessary system resources to ensure optimal performance, stability, and security and works closely with the IT team and various departments within the organization to identify and implement solutions that meet business needs and improve overall system efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Installs, configures, and maintains servers, ensuring operation at optimal performance levels, including regularly applying software updates, security patches, and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions. • Manages and maintains the network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls. Ensures all network devices are configured and optimized for performance and security. • Monitors the performance of all systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices. Identifies and troubleshoots issues that may arise and takes appropriate action to resolve. • Manages user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure that all users have the necessary resources to perform their jobs, including setting up new user accounts, modifying existing accounts, and disabling accounts as needed. • Participates in the planning and implementation of new technology, systems and upgrades, including researching new technologies and making recommendations to management on the best solutions to meet business needs. • Performs routine maintenance and upgrades as required to ensure the stability and security of all systems. • Stays current with emerging technologies and industry trends and share that knowledge with the IT team and other departments within the organization. Role Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 5 years of Systems Administrator experience. • Proficiency in managing virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V). • Experience with network design, administration, and security. Good To Have: • Detail-oriented, with a passion for technology. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Licenses (Good to have) • CompTIA A • CompTIA Network • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) • Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect • LPI Linux Professional Institute Certification • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) What's in it for you?
