Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer Location: Fully Remote Job Type: 6-Month Contract to Hire (C2H) Salary: Up to $160,000 (with 10% bonus ) Job Description: I am seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer for a 6-month contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ServiceNow, with a strong background in ITSM , ITOM , ITAM , and CMDB . Additionally, the candidate should have solid experience with event management and integrations within the ServiceNow platform. This is a fully remote position with an opportunity for conversion to a permanent role at an attractive salary of up to $160,000, along with a 10% bonus. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development, implementation, and customization of ServiceNow solutions, particularly in ITSM , ITOM , ITAM , and CMDB modules. Design and build a CMDB from scratch, ensuring proper configuration management practices and data accuracy. Develop and implement Event Management processes, including the creation and management of alerts, workflows, and automation. Perform integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and other technologies) to ensure seamless data flow. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform. Provide mentorship and leadership to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. Conduct regular system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure the ServiceNow platform's optimal performance. Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices to continually improve platform capabilities. Required Skills and Qualifications: 6 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration, specifically in ITSM , ITOM , ITAM , and CMDB modules. Proven track record in building and managing a CMDB from the ground up, including data modeling, discovery, and configuration management processes. Experience with ServiceNow Event Management , including creating alerts, workflows, and automations for proactive service monitoring and issue resolution. Strong expertise in ServiceNow integrations (using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and other integration methods). Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (Business Rules, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and Workflow development). Solid understanding of ITIL best practices, particularly in the context of ServiceNow implementations. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues.
