Director of Finance Dallas/Love Field area - Fully Onsite $160-175K Bonus Overview: One of Vaco's PE-backed clients is looking for a Corporate Director of Finance - in the past few years the company has doubled in size leading to big opportunities to leave a footprint, strategize, and streamline processes. Amazing/supportive leadership - the CFO is known for creating outstanding cultures. Key Responsibilities: Spearhead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics to drive the company's strategic goals. Implement financial policies and processes that support operational growth and efficiency improvements. Partner with senior executives to shape the company's strategy and align financial decisions with market conditions. Manage the creation of forecasts and analyze financial performance to identify and address risks and opportunities. Lead and support a financial analyst, fostering their development and enhancing their performance. Oversee corporate planning, conduct profitability assessments, and monitor expenses to maintain financial health. Monitor key business indicators, evaluate market trends, and provide insights for improvement. Lead the annual business planning cycle, including forecasting and presenting key findings to leadership. Ensure financial compliance and implement risk mitigation strategies. Assist with mergers and acquisitions, focusing on financial due diligence and integration. Collaborate with teams across geographies to ensure financial alignment and decision-making. Qualifications: At least 7 years of progressive FP&A experience, including leadership roles in financial management. Experience supervising teams and mentoring staff is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field (MBA preferred). Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power Query; familiarity with Power BI and Python is a plus. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, P&L management, and business performance evaluation.
