Dynamic PE backed company is searching for a Director of Corporate Finance. Proven leadership and ability to put own stamp on the position. Ideal candidates will have existing experience with corporate FP&A and ability to make thoughtful business decisions utilizing data and partnership with other departments.
The Role
The Director serves as the key finance business partner for their Corporate division. The Director, FP&A will help executive leaders align their departments' initiatives and investments on strategic plan. Director will provide critical Finance support on budgeting, forecasting and ongoing financial analysis to teams, executives and board. Support corporate consolidated financials - over full P&L, balance sheet, cash flow from finance perspective. Analyze and create financial reporting, trend analysis. Extensive budgeting, budgeting and variance analysis; work with existing models and rebuild as needed in order to gather accurate and useful financial information. Consolidated financials, financial planning and analysis; prepare budget and roll them into single corporate budget - trends and analysis, profitability analysis. Prepare internal reports for executive leadership in order to support short and long range decision making. Create, update and maintain complex financial models of forecasts and other reports, analyzing trends and making informed business recommendations. Provide guidance and financial leadership to executives on their key initiatives and investments. Assist in preparation and presentation of financial information to board. Highly involved in strategic finance initiatives, implementations, process improvements and major business changes. Partner cross functionally with leaders to make thoughtful impact by optimizing, automating and implementing. Drive process improvements and grow FP&A capabilities, including improvements to key financial information systems and tools. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:
8+ Years of experience with strong progression. Degree in finance or related field, MBA / CPA is a plus. Experience owning the finance process, business planning, leading and owning budgeting/forecasting process and driving business decisions. Strong experience building, rebuilding, editing, manipulating, managing consolidated budgets and forecasts required. Displayed expertise in analyzing financial data in order to create thoughtful and impactful business decisions. Systems: major data visualization, planning & reporting tools (such as Tableau, Hyperion, PowerBI, PBCS); Advanced Excel also required. System implementation experience heavy plus. Mid to Large size company experience. Strong analytical and technical skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills.
