Dental Assistant Job at Princess Dental Staffing in Los Angeles

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and possess strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and prepare equipment and instruments
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
• Perform various office tasks as needed

Skills

• Proficiency in infection control procedures
• Knowledge of general dentistry procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to perform aseptic techniques effectively
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations
• Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques
• Knowledge of endodontic and pediatric dental procedures
• Proficiency in Eaglesoft software is a plus
• Familiarity with dental terminology is preferred
