The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the overall quality of systems and technology released into ETP’s production environment. This includes creating testing documentation, planning and executing tests, validating results, and obtaining approvals through manual processes and automated tools. The role focuses on meeting business requirements and objectives by tracking quality metrics such as defects, test results, and test statuses. By documenting and communicating issues to development teams, the QA Engineer ensures timely resolution and high-quality product delivery.

Lead and coordinate testing programs for large-scale data warehousing platforms like SAP and JDA. Implement and expand automated testing tools while ensuring adherence to quality standards. Execute manual and automated tests, documenting test results, defects, and providing resolution support. Manage and oversee third-party QA teams, ensuring compliance with internal standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain test data and achieve seamless integration testing. Develop reports to track testing metrics and present outcomes to stakeholders. Understand various programming languages (ABAP, Java, C#, Perl, Python, etc.) and deployment tools such as Turnover, QGM/Solution Manager, as well as DevOps and CI/CD practices to enhance testing processes. Facilitate quality and testing process training for IT staff and project teams. Conduct QA audits to ensure adherence to established standards and recommend process improvements. Mentor and coach team members to build capabilities, improve collaboration, and mitigate conflicts. Support integration testing cycles by creating test scripts, coaching SAP super users, and resolving defects. What it takes:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Five (5)+ years of experience as a QA Performance Engineer with expertise in performance testing for large-scale platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce). Advanced proficiency with testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and monitoring platforms like AppDynamics or Dynatrace. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, metrics, and process improvements. Experience with automated testing tools and API testing. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities with a team-oriented mindset. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, experience with mobile testing tools, and SAFe Agile certification.
