Position Summary
Our client is seeking qualified Radiation Therapists to join their team. The role involves delivering ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes, working in accordance with the Radiation Oncologist's instructions, and providing care to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities: Safely and accurately operate radiation therapy equipment to treat neoplastic diseases or for other therapeutic purposes. Administer ionizing radiation in line with the Radiation Oncologist's prescription. Conduct pretreatment preparations, including simulations and fabricating treatment devices. Provide care to patients across the lifespan, including newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients. Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Four-year degree preferred Experience:
Knowledgeable in the operation methods and safety standards of ionizing radiation equipment Experience in handling radiation sources 3-5 years of experience preferred Capabilities as deemed sufficient by the Chief Therapist and Radiation Oncologist
Certifications/Licensure:
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required Must be licensed by the state or eligible for licensure CPR certification required
