The Department of Pediatrics, at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children's Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified/board eligible physician to join our growing Pediatric Infectious Disease section.

Pediatric Infectious Disease The Pediatric Infectious Disease Program at Children's Wisconsin is dedicated to providing expert, specialized care for children and youth facing chronic, transplant-related, and acute infectious diseases. Our team of 10 faculty members and advanced practitioners is a global leader in the management of pediatric rabies cases and is home to a comprehensive program for children, adolescents, and pregnant women living with HIV. With over 30 years of experience in pioneering pediatric heart, liver, kidney, and bone marrow transplants, Children's Wisconsin has helped hundreds of children with end-stage diseases not only survive but thrive.

With more than 1.3 million annual connections with kids and families statewide, Children's provides a wide range of care and support - everything from routine care to lifesaving advances and treatment options, foster care and adoption services, child advocacy, and provides an insurance plan.
Children's and its joint venture with the Medical College of Wisconsin - the Children's Specialty Group, or CSG - are the largest providers of pediatric healthcare in the state, serving the children and families of Wisconsin with the highest level of care through their American College of Surgeons Level I Children's Surgery Verification Center, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence, 72-bed Level IV NICU, Level IV Epilepsy Center, and a 72-bed PICU. In 2021-2022, CW and CSG had six specialties ranked by US News & World Report: cancer; cardiology and heart surgery; gastroenterology and GI surgery; neurology and neurosurgery; orthopedics; and pulmonology.
Position Requirements
Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the State of Wisconsin Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics Pediatric Infectious Disease Fellowship trained and Board Eligible/Board Certified by the ABP Ability to obtain medical staff membership with core privileges in pediatrics.
