Job duties include developing and maintaining a comprehensive bioinformatics infrastructure to support diverse data collection, transformation, and analysis needs. This role requires designing, creating, and managing tools and software pipelines, ensuring the secure processing and dissemination of data across a range of research techniques and skills. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintaining data storage SOP. Analyze single-cell, bulk, and 16S sequencing, and additional -omic datasets. Assist in experimental design and execution. Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to tackle large-scale data challenges. QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency with UNIX, R and/or Python. Experience with training machine learning models in any data domain (transcriptomics preferred). Bachelor's degree and 0 - 3 years of experience are required. SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency with UNIX, R and/or Python. Proficiency with data visualization. Proficiency with GitHub and Shiny apps (or related web data visualization platform). Good oral and written communication skills. The successful applicant should be comfortable presenting their work through oral presentations and written reports. Analytical skills and the ability to resolve technical or research problems and issues and to interpret data. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize a variety of tasks. Careful attention to detail and code documentation. WORKING CONDITIONS:

The successful application will have a dry lab desk to work, which is located in the Hale Building for Transformative Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Copious amounts of coffee, tea, and compute resources are available to all lab members. Equal Opportunity Employer:
